Old Fashioned

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Bourbon or Rye whiskey
  • 10 ml Rich simple syrup (2 : 1)
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Large ice cube
  • Orange peel and cocktail cherry (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Add syrup and bitters to a rocks glass; stir
  2. Add whiskey and a large ice cube
  3. Stir 15 seconds to chill
  4. Express orange peel over the glass and drop it in with a cherry
