Irish Coffee
Ingredients
- 45 ml Irish whiskey
- 120 ml Hot coffee
- 15 ml Demerara syrup (or 1 tbsp brown sugar)
- 60 ml Lightly whipped cream
- Optional: Grated chocolate or nutmeg (for garnish)
Instructions
- Warm a heatproof glass with hot water and discard
- Add whiskey and demerara syrup; stir to dissolve
- Top with hot coffee, leaving room
- Float the cream over the back of a spoon
- Garnish with grated chocolate or nutmeg
