Irish Coffee

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Irish whiskey
  • 120 ml Hot coffee
  • 15 ml Demerara syrup (or 1 tbsp brown sugar)
  • 60 ml Lightly whipped cream
  • Optional: Grated chocolate or nutmeg (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Warm a heatproof glass with hot water and discard
  2. Add whiskey and demerara syrup; stir to dissolve
  3. Top with hot coffee, leaving room
  4. Float the cream over the back of a spoon
  5. Garnish with grated chocolate or nutmeg
